Here is the Season 6 Trailer of “Grace And Frankie” And We Couldn’t Love Them More

Season 6 for our favorite duo premiers January 15 and we are counting the days. Even if Jane Fonda (Grace) and Lily Tomlin (Frankie) were not the two most compelling actresses and comediennes ever to appear on screen, we would still love a show that reminds us over and over that women get to star in a second, third and, dare we say, fourth act.

While Netflix has announced that they show will be discontinued after Season 7, the entire cast is back for Season 6. At the heart of this season are the threads that have run through every episode, how we bounce back from loss, how we parent adult children and how we hold fast to the things we love in our friendships, while life changes all around us.

In this season our two favorite octogenarians start a new business, face a health crisis involving one of their former husbands and one finds a new spouse. But in every episode they remind us that true and undying friendships, the kind where you don’t agree on everything but have each other’s backs, are what get us through life’s rough spots. Frankie and Grace seem to see eye-to-eye on almost nothing but are there for each other at every turn, in life and business.

When contemplating their newest venture, Frankie reminds Grace that: “This is what we do! We take an obstacle and we make an opportunity” and “This is our company’s second act. It’s our second act.” Grace adds that “Ever since ‘you and I’ became ‘you and me’ we’ve done a lot of crazy shit, but we’ve always done it together.” And isn’t that what it’s all about–doing it, whatever it may be, with a friend.

The new season is slated to have 13 episodes with 16 more to come in the final season. We can’t wait.
