Donna Windham
My name is Donna Windham and I am from Clarksville, Tennessee. I am the Mom of an only child, an 18 year old son. He graduated from High School in May of this year and I am beginning the “empty nest” phase of my life. He will be attending Mississippi State University in the Fall of 2019. Did I mention that he will be 5 hours away from home? I’ve centered my world around being Colby’s Mom and I haven’t quite figured out what to do with myself now. I’ve never considered myself to be a writer but I decided that I wanted to document this journey as it unfolds because I know that I can’t possibly be the only Mom that is feeling the dread of college.
