MIndy Hobmann
Mindy Benioff Hobmann is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and credentialed English Teacher who still mulls over how she may have messed up her grown and (mainly) flown kids, who have turned out to be pretty awesome humans, despite her parenting mistakes. She has worked with hundreds of children and their families, first as a middle and high school English Teacher in the district’s inclusion and GATE (Gifted And Talented Education) programs, and then as a Reading Specialist.
After being a stay-at-home mom, Mindy worked as a therapist at a non-profit and as a counselor in public schools. She recently left her job after 10 years as Director of Guidance and College Counseling at a private school to travel with her husband now that they are empty nesters. Her musings frequently took place in her office which was known for its comfy lime green couch. She continues to work with middle school and high school students as an independent academic coach and college counselor.
