Marie Pompili
Marie Pompili, owner of Gorman Pompili Communications, has more than 30 years of experiencing communicating to many different audiences throughout a lengthy editorial and public relations career. Starting as a trade press editor covering technologies like the Taser, she transitioned to public relations, working with global manufacturers in paints, coatings, and industrial sectors. Her agency specializes in branding, media relations, content creation, and social media strategy tailored for manufacturing. Marie is the Marketing Director for 100 Women Strong OHIO, a giving circle dedicated to helping women and children in Northeast Ohio. Her most important job, though, is as a wife and mother. She has been married for nearly 30 years and is the mother of two young adults – ages 27 and 23 – and one 15-year old Wheaten Terrier. While getting the girls through high school and college and the inevitable launch could be challenging at times, her oldest daughter’s breast cancer diagnosis has taught her that the mama bear is always there no matter what.
