Courtney Crane

Courtney Crane writes stories about coming of age in the South, parenting teens, and life in “La-La Land”. Her work has been featured in the “Expressing Motherhood” DTLA 2015 & 2017 Southbay shows, and in the “Listen to Your Mother” 2016 Burbank show. Her story “Two Blocks from Home” was selected for publication in “Roar: True Tales of Women Warriors” (2017 by BetterSaidThanDone Story Telling Nonprofit, proceeds benefit the National Network to End Domestic Violence). Courtney has participated in the NOHO Lit Crawl 2015 & 2016 with her writing group, “Ladies Who Lit”. When she is not writing or wrangling her family, Courtney works for Paragone Gallery art consulting firm. She grew up in New Orleans, La., and lives in Studio City, CA., with her husband, one teen, one 20 something, and one oversized rescue dog.
