Brenda Kelley Kim was born and raised on the North Shore of Boston. She attended Marblehead High School, graduating in 1982. In 1986 she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Saint Michael’s College in Winooski, VT. She is a self-published author of “Sink or Swim: Tales From the Deep End of Everywhere” on Amazon. Her column, “Not the Same Old Thing” appears weekly in the Marblehead Reporter, and other GateHouse Media New England publications. She lives in Marblehead, MA.
