Amy Connor
Amy Connor has been writing for publication since her first article appeared in a local newspaper when she was thirteen years old. Aside from some embarrassingly melodramatic creative writing her mother actually saved, she continued to concentrate on journalistic pursuits in high school and college, followed by a stint at Sotheby’s preparing descriptions for high-end auction catalogues. After a year in corporate America she decided to follow her heart and pursue a life in the theater. She spent the next sixteen years writing her bio for programs at theaters all over the world, including Broadway’s Playbill.
Her blog, Cross Country Mom, chronicles her family’s 74 day adventure as they accompanied her husband on a cross-country bicycle trip that raised $25,000 for Sunrise Day Camp for children with cancer.
